Ragon House is currently hiring a Full-Time Product Development Coordinator.
This position's main purpose is to assist and organize the design team in developing product and product lines from the original creation to the point of sale of each product.
Main Duties Include:
Develop and maintain product specification sheets in excel or other spreadsheets.
Organize and relay new product concepts to appropriate partners Communicate product updates to design team and vendors Organize and collect product data to assist with costing and pricing Aid in establishing design and production timelines and ensure deadlines are met Coordinate with the art department to expand product lines and create new packaging Identify product and product line deficiencies and suggest improvements Work with trade agents and overseas vendors to communicate needs Work with freight forwarders on customs entries and duties, including identifying appropriate tariff numbers as well as helping to arrange international sample shipments Assist with management of samples, including ticketing and distribution to showrooms General administrative support of the creative team for all product development Requirements include:
A working knowledge of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets for maintaining and updating product details, including knowledge of formulas and basic math within the spreadsheets Detail-oriented with the ability to multi-task Willingness to learn and accept constructive feedback Ability to be flexible and quickly adapt and prioritize Strong communication and teamwork skills Ability to thoroughly convey oral and written ideas to vendors and partners Bachelor's Degree or related work experience preferred but not required This position should expect minimal travel, but occasional travel overseas may be necessary.
